Leffe Lindh – aka the man who sleeps with moose – has been caring for and raising moose in Gardsjo – a small town in Sweden, about 185 miles from Stockholm – for decades. In 2013, Lindh decided to open the doors to the Gardsjo Moose Park. Here, visitors can get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures – something most people don’t ever get the chance to do.

At the moment there are a number of adults and youngsters roaming free on the property. The bulls antlers vary in size depending on the time of year, but there are a few whose grow to be pretty huge! So far this year, here have been 7 new calves born which would certainly be a cute sight to see. The property has also recently been expended to 25 hectares to give them lots more space to roam. And the cozy cottage you get to stay in for the night is actually a nicely renovated 18th century farm house and even has a sauna! For the Christmas season, they have special festive packages too.
