Noah Ritter, also known as the ‘Apparently Kid’, was discovered by Ellen this year after he was featured in a news interview at the Wayne County Fair in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. The video went viral and soon received a whopping 15 million views, capturing the attention of Ellen DeGeneres. He appeared on her show in August and brought lots of laughs as he told stories about kindergarten being like jail and how annoying it is that he has to walk to the bus – he thinks the bus should stop in front of his house. It’s really pretty funny stuff. And apparently (no pun intended), he is over the word ‘apparently’ and has moved on to ‘seriously’. Here is the video of the news interview that first landed him all the attention as well as his first appearance on Ellen.
Yes, first appearance on Ellen – Noah has actually been on the show again and brought more laughs with clips of him being on special assignment with Grandpa Jack at the Texas State Fair.
And it doesn’t end there – Noah has been a true internet sensation this year and has even appeared on the late night show, The Colbert Report. He’s a pretty amusing kid and although many people think he should go into journalism when he grows up, he says no way, he wants to be a paleontologist.
